What is the use of a pallet truck?

Using Pallet Trucks, Chocks and Other Pallet Accessories

BeaconTechnology.com Tip: Pallets alone save money and countless man hours. Combine them with other labor-saving devices, and streamline your operations even further.

A motorized or manual pallet truck can handle loading and unloading of pallets weighing up to 4,500 pounds, and some are small and maneuverable enough for one person to handle. Pallet pullers and movers get the blocks to the rear of a truck to allow forklift access, and have self-cleaning heads to keep their grips from contamination. This equipment takes care of all the lifting, freeing work crews to take care of the jobs they specialize in, while reducing the chance of on-the-job injury or work slow-down due to muscle strain.

Pallet truck stops and chocks protect against slippage when heavy loads are being maneuvered on and off vehicles, and prevent property damage from rollaway trucks. Pallet stands keep materials in one place, but at more accessible heights, pallet protectors and canopies keep weather off still-unloaded materials (think a tarp, pre-arranged) and 3,000-pound capacity pallet jacks maneuver the stands through traditional and narrow passages.
