Truck Restraints Keep Things in Place
BeaconTechnology.com Tip: Truck restraints keep parked trucks absolutely stationary while people are loading or unloading them. They're mechanical, and prevent load shifting, rollaways and trailer creep. And while they sound simple and obvious, they're a vital piece of safety equipment.

Don't rely on someone else's diligence. Truck restraints anchor directly to docks and latch onto trailers' ICC bar or rear-impact guard, and come in two basic models: manual and hydraulic. Both work equally well, and keep the truck in place until the driver has the go-ahead to pull out (early driver departure is another frequent cause of loading dock injuries. They also guard against trailer upending, not uncommon if a heavy load is placed in the front end.
